Pay disparity

I refer to the article: International Women's Day.
I commend Kevin Rudd on his speech for the International Women's Day on March 11th, 2008. It provides me with hope and optimism about the future of women in this country.
It is because of this beneficial change of government in Australia that I would like to raise the issue of pay disparity between the genders which, unfortunately, still exists in our society. I would sincerely hope that this will be revisited and successfully addressed in Kevin Rudd's new government as one of the many great and positive changes he will implement during his time as Prime Minister.
