Let's not watch petrol prices rise; let's put government money into R & D on alternate fuels - ethanol, solar, anything environmentally friendly - to reduce the stranglehold of oil on our economy.
People are genuinely worried about Global Warming and the price of petrol forcing the cost of living up. Why not tackle both problems at once. Let us be proactive rather than reactive.
