I accept the fact that there is no silver bullet for petrol price hike. But it is a well known fact that rising fuel cost badly hit the hip pocket of ordinary people living in the city as well as the country. We know very well how the previous Howard Government cheated people for many things including interest rates, insurgence premiums and many others.
We trust the new PM and his group, and ordinary people expect more from this government. What would be the best, I do not know. But serious commitments on investment for alternative energy discovery would be essential for the comfort of future Australia.
