Whole hog

Delighted that the government has moved to remove legal discrimination against same sex couples. As Crikey pointed out, this is not just symbolism but a real change.
I am disappointed, however, that it did not allow same sex couples to marry. As a very straight, long-time married Christian with a bit of theological nous, I think it is sad that the government has not gone the whole hog. Maybe next time.
