Re: Your Firm’s Legal Costing Requirements
To many practitioners, legal costing in an enigma: to those for whom it is not, discussions can be mutually beneficial.
I have been undertaking all aspects of legal costing in all jurisdictions for in excess of twenty (20) years.
My pragmatic approach to preparation of all documents has, in most instances, resulted in settlement of the costs issue in lieu of matters proceeding to the costly exercise of Assessment (or Taxation where relevant). Also I am quite happy to mediate on your firm’s behalf.
The following points may assist in your firm arriving at a decision as to whether or not you wish to engage my services and assistance:
- All files receive my personal attention: I do not subcontract to “outworkers” (apart from my fussy typist - a former legal secretary).
- Bills of Costs are prepared and returned to your firm in a timely fashion and where time constraints permit, within a four (4) week period.
- Notices of Objections, Responses and other like documents are attended to immediately upon receipt of instructions.
- Communication and inquiries from practitioners and staff are actively encouraged. This also applies to queries concerning matters that have not reached a hearing.
- My fees are negotiable and flexible depending upon the type of matter, its size and the jurisdiction.
- I attend Taxations where applicable, i.e. Family Court.
