Your Wedding Ceremony

Your wedding day is a day of wonderful celebration and the focus of that day is your wedding ceremony. It reflects the foundations of your married life. The process begins with a no obligation discussion of your thoughts about your ceremony, what you would like to say about your relationship/marriage/other important people in your lives, the involvement of others – family and friends, readings and poetry. You are welcome to make a selection from my extensive collection of poems, prose and philosophy. You can personalise your ceremony, have family and friends join in with readings, poetry and song, have live musicians play or sing, or use your favourite recorded music. I will draft a ceremony for your approval, or you can design your own ceremony, with my assistance if required. Add those distinctive elements that will make your special day a unique and memorable one, which reflects your individuality and celebrates your love.

Naming Days

Have a special ceremony to welcome your child into the community of your family and friends. The ceremony allows you to declare publicly your joy at the arrival of your child, and for your family and friends to express their wishes and hopes for your child’s future. It also provides you with the opportunity to acknowledge your gratitude to family and friends, particularly godparents and grandparents, for their interest and involvement in the years to come.

Renewal of Marriage Vows

Remember and celebrate that special anniversary of your wedding day. You can include details of your bridal party and where they are now, where the wedding took place, where you’ve lived since, the story of your children and family life. It’s not always possible for people to marry. Have a ceremony with your life companion that acknowledges the uniqueness of your relationship. Share your joy with relatives and friends.

Funerals

A final tribute at the closure of the life of your loved one. A distinctly personal life narrative, prepared with care and sensitivity, that reflects with dignity and solemnity, as well as affection and humour, a life honoured and remembered.
